* DAY 15 * : Yesterday was such a blessing. Easy to get through. I woke up early and went to Church – and it was AWESOME! I haven’t been attending church regularly in years – for reasons I don’t think it’s appropriate to get into with this particular post. But needless to say, the service yesterday was Bomb. It was like every single thing that God has been whispering to me was confirmed and validated. Including the FREEDOM from SMOKING!! Nice.
After Church, I was lucky enough to be invited to go Boating on the Lake. Another silent prayer beautifully answered. I was so totally bummed that I hadn’t made it out on the Lake all summer… all this time spent in beautiful Big Bear, and I didn’t have the chance to go sailing. Boo. But thank God, the story had a happy ending!! We spent a lovely afternoon out on the lake. The conditions were divine. Perfect weather – great company – stellar views – and I was even lucky enough to be allowed to drive the little beast. ;o)
Later that night, I realized that I hadn’t even thought about smoking all day. I made it through an entire day, including the boating (which normally would have been a “wonderful” time to kick back & enjoy a smoke) without even thinking about it. Glory Hallelujah!
* DAY 16 * : Today was uneventful – which IS NOT a bad thing!! I mostly updated my website & networks and focused on how grateful I am for such a wonderful day yesterday – as well as for this PEACE that seems to be invading me from the inside out. Here’s a pic of the still unsmoked cancer-stick in the tube…. Proof Ya’ll !!! ;0)
